From diagnostic testing, cholesterol and heart checks, Health MOT's and even pregnancy or fertility testing, our services are all provided with your health and confidentiality in mind. The private consultation space allows us to provide you with one to one care and information, ensuring your comfort and confidence. ​ ​We pride ourselves on the warm and caring nature of our staff team, and hope that our friendly and relaxed atmosphere can help to enhance your experience of our services.

​To support our customers convenience, we have organised an appointment booking system for individuals who do not want to wait in store, however, we do provide all of our services on a walk in basis also so if there isn't an appointment to suit you, pop into store and we will be sure to serve you as promptly as we can!

NHS Funded Services
Please find below the range of NHS funded services we provide. We recognise that these services have specific criteria set out by NHS England, so please do read the information abut the service before booking to ensure that you meet the NHS eligibility criteria for the service.
Some of the services will also require referral. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information about these services.

Here at Allcorn Chemist we also understand that some of these services would be beneficial to all of our patients, and although we have no ability to change the NHS eligibility criteria, we have done our best to make a range of these services available privately for those who still wish to gain access to them. We have also added some additional ones, to help us work towards our mission of supporting a happier and healthier community.

​We understand that confidentiality, discretion and comfort is optimal for individuals looking for this service. With more than 50% of people showing no symptoms when positive, we encourage regular testing for all sexually active patients above the age of 16.
​We know how hard it can be to give up smoking, but with a range of techniques and replacements we are able to offer friendly and dedicated to support to help you quit. If you're interested pop in or give us a call.
​​When starting some new medications we understand that things can be scary and take time to adjust. We are able to provide you with a free consultation with our pharmacist to take you through any questions you may have and to monitor how you adjust to the new medication.
Discharge Medicine Service
​Upon discharge from hospital, some patients may be referred to us to help explain the changes to their medication and to help them better understand and adjust to their new regieme. Please contact us directly for more information about this service.
COVID-19 Rapid Lateral Flow Tests
If you are at risk of COVID and have received a letter or know that you have a listed condition, we are able to provide you with NHS funded lateral flow tests. Please read the service information for more information about which conditions are covered? Please note, if you are not eligible for NHS funding but are still concerned about the on-going risks of COVID-19, we do keep a small number of tests available for purchase.
Dispensing Medicine and Repeat Prescriptions
Disposal of Unwanted Medicines
Supervised Consumption / Administration
​Collect your NHS and private prescriptions here. We can help you request medicines and work closely with your GP surgery to support your medication needs.
​We also provide a repeat dispensing service where we can help support you to collect regular and repeat medications.
​Bring back any old, expired, or unwanted medicines and we will safely dispose of them for you.
​​Please note that we are unable to dispose of sharps bins, however this is a service which can be obtained through the local council. Please contact us directly for more information.
We provide a safe and confidential substance misuse service for those who have seen a key worker and have been referred to us for medication support through this challenging journey. Our team are well trained and discreet with your comfort and ease in mind.
​please note that we do not currently have capacity to offer a needle exchange or disposal service.

Our hope is that we can increase access to a range of services, tests and investigations to reduce waiting times for patients to get the care and support they need to improve their health. Whilst we do appreciate that there is a cost for some of these services, we hope that by keeping the costs as low as possible, we can make it quick, easy, accessible, affordable and convenient for people to understand their healthcare needs and to elevate their wellbeing. Our convenient and discreet service allows you to have a comfortable and safe experience during difficult times. This service is only available to those ages 16 and over.
A discreet and fast access service to Erectile Dysfunction treatment that is suitable for you. No prescription needed for your ease and confidentiality. This service is only available to those ages 16 and over.

​When travelling abroad it is important to make sure that you have the advised travel vaccinations. Book an appointment to speak to your pharmacist about this or to receive your vaccinations.
