We understand at Allcorn Chemist that sometimes you may change your mind about something you buy or wish to exchange it for something different. Whilst we have rules about the things we are legally allowed to accept as returns, (due to the nature of our products and services), we have created the following policy to tell you more about how to return the items which you can. Please read for more information:
Returning Medicines: Due to legislation in the United Kingdom and England, we are unable to accept returns of medicines. Medicines can include creams and liquids, and this applies to all medicines we sell. It includes antihistamines, pain-relief, supplements and our anti-malarial tablets. This list is not exhaustive so please do read the returns policy on each item before placing an order or contact us for more information. Due to the tight restrictions and guidelines around the way in which we must store, handle, and sell medications, we are unable to accept these items for return, and any medicines returned to any pharmacy must be appropriately destroyed for safety reasons. If you do find that you no longer want a medicine, you can take it to your local pharmacy, and they will dispose of it for free.
Returning non-medicinal items: If you find that you no longer want a product which you have purchased from us, please let us know within 14 days of receiving the item of your desire to return. Some products are not eligible for return, please check the list below for more information. Please note it is your responsibility to notify us of your intention to return all or some of the items within 14 days. You can do this by completing our returns form directly from the website and sending this to us within 14 days.
**Items must be returned, unopened, in their original packaging with all accessories, and original proof of purchase will be required when requesting a refund. We will be unable to process any refunds if the original proof of purchase is not provided. We are only able to refund or exchange goods which have been purchased from us. **
Once you have received confirmation from us and the return has been authorised, you must send the items to us within 14 days and thereafter, once the product has been received or checked by a member of the team, a refund to the original payment method will be made. Please note that it can take up to 7 working days for the banks to process this and the money to reach your bank account. Please contact us if you have not received the refund within 7 working days. Please note that if the decision to the return the item is your own you will be required to pay the return postage, however, we do not charge a restocking fee for returns. In the unlikely event that your products are faulty, defective, damaged, misdelivered or not as described, we will send you a returns label via email and return postage will be free. Please read below for additional information about what to do if there is a problem with your order.
Whilst we do our best to help when customers change their minds, there are some guidelines around the non-medicine products we are able to accept returns of. The following list contains more information on products unable to be returned: NHS prescriptions, treatments and services Products sold sealed for personal hygiene or health protection. Personalised products Perishable products Products which have been ordered specifically for you following a consultation
What to do if there is a problem with your order:
In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order such as any of the products being damaged, faulty, not as described or misdelivered, please contact us immediately and we will be happy to refund the item once returned. The costs of returning the product will be covered by us, as well as the delivery of the new goods. Please note that it is your responsibility to immediately inform us of any problems with your delivery to allow us to investigate this further in house or with any of our third-party delivery companies. The following process should be followed when letting us know of a problem with your order: 1.Complete the returns form on our website indicating the reason for return. You will be asked to upload proof when completing the form. This may be a photo of the damaged or faulty product. 2.Once this has been authorised and confirmed by a member of our team, a pre-paid return label will be sent to you via email. 3.Please return the item to us with the original packaging in the condition it was delivered in. Once our team has received this, we will send out a replacement product or where preferred will offer a full refund for the item(s).
Where shall I send my returns to? Once you have received confirmation for your return from our team, please send your items to the following address:
Return Address: Allcorn Chemist 197 St James’s RoadCroydonCR0 2BZ*
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that items are reasonably and properly packaged on return to prevent damage during shipping. **We recommend that when returning goods to us you retain proof of postage as we cannot be held liable for goods which have been posted to us before we have received them. Will my delivery fee be refunded? All authorised refunds will include a refund of our standard delivery fee, however if a more expensive delivery option has been selected only the standard delivery charge will be refunded unless the reason for the return has not been your decision (e.g. damaged, faulty, not as described)

If you can no longer make your appointment, please cancel within 24 hours to avoid wasted sessions. Although many of our services are free, we do expect our customers to let us know when they can no longer make a slot.
For services which require a deposit, please note that this is a non-refundable deposit but will be removed from the total amount remaining when you pay for the service in store or over the phone.

There may be times when our pharmacist may advise you a service is not suitable for you. Please note that this is due to clinical guidelines and is not at the pharmacist's discretion but will always be due to medical eligibility or NHS Criteria.
